It's a JEEP!

Okay, so Bobby has been looking for another Jeep. We found this one over a year ago, but didn't purchase it, but it' kept calling our name....so, guess what he owns....a YELLOW jeep.
Ariel said "Mom, I could really see you in the pick-up line" (when I picked her up from school)

So, guess you will see us coming.....

Tree is finally finished....

We started this before Thanksgiving and I finally managed to put the finishing touches to it today. I have an Angel for the top, but she's too heavy, so I stuck the bow back on it from another year.

{ LIke my pink wrapping paper? I picked this up at Hobby Lobby last weekend because I LOVE pink. Hey, It was with the Christmas wrapping paper, so it's okay, RIGHT! }

We are READY for the Christmas Holiday....

Ariel and her American Girl Doll, Krissa..
So sassy, but completely ADORABLE girl!

Art Lessons....

I think my sweet little gal is going to take after her Mother. She loves to draw. We started her with an Art teacher earlier this year and this is one of the projects they just finished.
She has done paintings on canvas and some other things as well.

Star of Texas award for Achievement!

Ariel mixing up the Green salad for Thanksgiving day...

Meeting Kaitlyn Maher....The search for Santa Paws

We had just watched this movie on the ABC family channel and then discovered who the little girl was that was singing. We then found out she was going to sing in Marshall Tx and Ariel wanted to go see her. So, here is a few pictures of Ariel and her.She has a beautiful voice and is very talented.

Cinnasticks... made from Pizza dough!

I surprised Ariel and Bobby with these YUMMY cinnamon sticks for breakfast on Sunday.
LOVE you PIntrest...I have found so many good looking recipes on there.
These were { super } easy to make. Oh, shhhhhhhsh, we didn't count calories on this day! :)

OUTFIT coming soon!

This is the fabric I will be making her something {not sure yet} for UIL coming in December. Black and white and I think some hotpink dot fabric also. Guess I will know when I start sewing it!
Her poem is about an elephant, so what better applique to put on the shirt!

Stitching Ariel's Christmas tee...

I love to SEW....did I say that loud enough?
Seriously, I love creating many different things, but sewing and embroidery are my favorite. I would love to learn to digitize next year! That's on my list of things to learn!

And here is the finished design.

Ole Scatter....his favorite pastime....

Not sure WHY he has always like the bathroom, but he looks for WATER! If he catches the lid on the comode up, he drinks from it...Yeah, I know, YUCK! He has fresh water in the garage...
Ariel bathed him last week and when I got the blowdryer out to dry him...{ yep, crazy thought }
he HISSED at me....so, he only got a towl dry...bad kitty!

7 UP Biscuits.....

I am addicted to Pintrest, that is when I have time to sit and look at it, but I found this recipe on there and decided to give it a try. Of course, my little helper, Ariel, wanted to get her hands in the goo also, so her and I made them together. Here are a few pictures of how we did it!

Cutting them out!

Moving them into the butter pan..
ready to bake now!

Just Ariel.....

She asked me if she could get some highlights in her hair, which I wasn't too fond of allowing, but I thought a few couldn't hurt, RIGHT? Or should I say, "what could a few hurt?" So, my wonderful hairdresser and friend said she could do it and Ariel was excited. You can't tell a HUGE difference, but she just adores the look.

A cat on the hot tin roof?

Okay, well he wasn't on a hot tin roof by all means. He was being nosy while Bobby and Ariel was hanging Christmas lights! He climbed the scissor lift and jumped on the roof. Walked all over the roof and then was following me on the ground. I honestly thought he was going to jump to the ground at one time, but he managed to find his was off before they called it a night.

It was a SWEET shop kinda day....

4th grade went to the Sweet Shop here in town today for a field trip. I am SO happy they went because Ariel has been wanting to take the tour for a few years now and they only do it during the day. It is such an awesome tour. Our tour guide told us alot of information and that was the neat part. OH, I could own a candy factory. Benjin-Bousan-Slacen-Chocolate Factory...(okay, really that is the name Ariel has always told me was her chocolate Factory, LOL) I snapped a few pictures in the lobby, but couldn't take the camera inside the work areas...
Here she is before dressing in the haircap, gown and booties for her shoes...
and after putting on the haircap, booties and gown.

School Tee's.....

Shirts I made for the Booster Club to sell for their Basketball team.
4th Grade tee shirts for Field Trip and San Antonio Trip.

She loves this cat!

I think he's trying to hide from her! LOL

Ole Scatter just loves the water!

Everytime he comes into the house, he's on a mission to find water. Usually, he knows to head to Bobby's bathroom! This time he stopped off in the hall bathroom and jumped into the tub! So, I thought I'd turn the water on and see if that's what he liked! WELL, sure enought, I couldn't hardly get him away from it!

Ariel at Halloween!

and just to think that some people don't like CLOWNS! Well, she loves this costume! She makes a very good clown!

My Birthday.....

Well, I'm a little late posting these pictures, but what's the saying "better late than never"...okay...I had problems with the camera. So, here is my BIRTHDAY picture with Ariel. Yep, another birthday, but I don't feel a day older...
