Daytona Beach.....July 7th, 2011

Ariel LOVES the water. I think she was a little fish in her first life...(JK)
She had a blast playing in the waves. The water was a little too cold for me this day..
Playing in the water is her #1 sport....Okay, well, she just loves the water period.....She enjoyed walking the beach and looking for shells. We always bring a bucket of shells back home....NOT this time.

TINY, TINY lizzard...Wow....

I think this is the smallest EVER lizzard (don't know the correct name for it) that we have ever saw. Ariel found it in the flower beds.
SO tiny....She let him go after we examined him and took his photo. He's really lucky that Scatter didn't find him first.

Ariel's NEW art desk....

So, Ariel is taking Art Classes from a super sweet lady we found through her Music Teacher. She loves Ms. Patty and talks about her endlessly. So, Ariel needed a desk. #1 for homework and  #2 for Art. She was working on the bar, but I hate messes left there. So, we journey'd to Staples and found this CUTE, and I mean CUTE desk that resembles and easle. So, that's what we bought. It is a little small when she's painting a 16 X 20 canvas, but I think overall, it will work out great for her.

Her "mermaid" canvas she drew and painted. I helped her somewhat with the drawing (to get it sized correctly). She done a AWESOME job on the painting.

Cousin Time

Stopping off at another cousins house while in Florida!
It was a WONDERFUL visit with Laura and her great family. Look how pretty the night ski was!
We enjoyed pizza, visiting and the kiddo's swimming for a bit! Thanks Laura for the nice visit. Hope to see ya'll again real soon!

Shiner and Ariel

Stopping off at cousin Jeremy's house, Ariel got to visit with Shiner! They had a great time playing with sticks and running around. Here they stopped for a few pictures!

Downtown Disney-Florida Style

Before leaving the Orlando area, we stopped off at a Disney Resort and spent the night! (sigh)

Knowing we had about a 16 hour trip home, I was MORE than ready to get going!

We went long enough to walk around and have breakfast, take a few photos and then get on the road to home.
