Busted.....

I caught her "sink" bathing after we had been outside.

Ariel's new glasses...

Ariel picked out her new glasses last week...

She sure does look smart!

Yummy vegetables.....

I wish I could say I grew these myself, but we really don't have time for a garden.

These were given to us yesterday and me and Ariel will have them ate by the end of the week!

We got a little squash and okra also. I can't wait to cook the okra. We love steamed squash!

OOPS....Just a little accident....

Had a little accident, so the truck is out of commission for a week or so.

It will be back to new before we know it!

Our first swim meet of the season was held in Lufkin. We drove up to Nac the night before and got a good nights sleep.

This scribble on her leg is for her Events, heat, lane and the stroke she does for each one.

Here she is chillaxin before she has to go swim. It makes for a long day and then the drive home, but it is SO well worth it.

We have made alot of friends over the years. This is her 4th year to swim with the Mt. Pleasant swim team!

Mine digger!

We had saw that they were about to move this across the road one Sunday on our way to Church, so we were able to get some pictures of it!

This thing is HUGE!

Mamaline's house...

As many know, Our Grandmother passed away on June 3rd. She was known and loved dearly by the grandkids and great-grandkids. Ariel only knew her 10 short years.
This is the kitchen she cooked in. We would eat on Sundays at her house after Church and often spend the day with her!
She and Daddy Jack had a HUGE garden and grew all their vegetables in it.

This is the table we'd sit out for lunch.

It was quite funny, cause this was back in the day that Bobby raced about 1 Sunday a month.

She would often tease him that she'd cut his end of the table off if he didn't show up.

Ariel would sit at Mamaline's end of the table with her in the high chair. Mamaline would feed her all the good veggie's she'd fixed and Ariel would eat them all. She was so proud that Ariel ate tomatoes, cucumbers, okra, potatoes and cabbage. Oh, and also onions back then. (but not now)

Memorial Weekend-May 28th, 2012

I think we have a fisher-girl. She always wants to fish.

I think it's the excitement of actually catching it. Not really sure what she would do IF she got a fish on her hook and Daddy wasn't there to get it off! HAHA!

She'd sit there all day, just to catch a fish!

She wanted me to make sure I got the "bait" in the picture when I snapped this one!
