Air Boat swamp tour.....
Yes, we went there....Swamp tour...We went with a large group of friends and took 2 air boats.
Atchafayala Basin landing, just outside of Lafayatte Louisiana.
This is our group heading out to load the airboats.
This was 100% better than the Dolphin tour on a catamaran we took in Florida last year.
Here's Ariel with her ear muffs on. They Airboats were quite noisy, so they did request we wear these.
This is our boat. We had Norman in the back, along with the driver..Drew, Dustin and Pablo Huffaker (driver of GraveDigger), then me and Ariel and Bobby took the picture.
The view was quite breathtaking. It was absoulutly gorgeous out there.
OUr driver dug up some "mudbugs" for Ariel. She loves about every creature there is out there and not afraid to hold them.
And this is the nice friendly alligator they called up to feed. They have fed him/her and a sibling for a couple years now, so they stopped the boats and called them up. It took awhile. This one came, but then we did locate the other one on a log when we continued.

April 2nd, 2012 Ariel's accident
So, our little dare devil had a accident. She was riding her razor ATV and flipped it! NO helmet and NO seatbelt. (That will change-I have FULL control over that now)
I can tell ya it scared the bageebies out of her and us as well. Speed was a big factor, and wet grass was a small factor.
So thankful our neighbor was out walking his dog and witnessed the whole shabang! He got the razor off her (it has a rollbar) and brought her to the house.
Bobby was mowing and gave her the okay to ride. I was in the house and had NO ideal she was riding.
Once I cleaned the blood off her face and saw the cut, I mentioned stitches and then she was PERFECTLY fine.
It just scared her so bad. She is bruised and sore and her head hurts from it. She has bruises on her legs from the steering wheel.
This picture is dark, but it shows her tracks where she rounded the house and then turned it over!
The rollbar is bent, but at least she is fine (NOW)
March 2012 Embroidery Patches
I've been trying to perfect some new patches. I'm trying to make something that ANYONE can grab their home iron and put these on a shirt (their own shirt of choice)
I've tried several different stabilizers and have just ordered another to try. I've not been happy with them 100%.
These are just a few of the ones I've been doing. If I can get these to where I am 100% happy, I will be selling them at my next craft show in May.
